Introduction to IRC
The Ian Routledge Consultancy (IRC) was founded in 1996 and since that time has been providing specialist traffic control services to central and local government as well other consultants in the UK and overseas. IRC focuses on providing traffic control solutions including design, specification, installation, acceptance testing, operation and maintenance of traffic signals and UTC, UTMC and RTI systems. In addition, IRC offers significant experience of bus priority facilities, traveller and driver information systems, tolling systems and car park signing systems.
Through projects such as Eboracvm IRC is supporting the development of the next generation of intelligent transport solutions incorporating connected vehicles and Cloud data.
IRC are the developers of the ITS Asset, Fault and Information platform IMTRAC which is used by over 90 organisations across the UK and Ireland.
